We only supply quality equipment from leading manufacturers. Cheap and Cheerful equipment does not have the build quality and more importantly, the sound quality we strive to achieve. Our equipment is fit for purpose and designed for the environment in which it is deployed.

Commentary Units

We currently have for hire six mobile commentary units, both double and single deck. All can run from batteries or mains electricity, and range from our 15 foot Double Decker, down to our smaller 8 foot units.

Each unit has full length work surfaces, comfortable chairs, and a bell or buzzer for Show Jumping events. Every unit can be kitted out to suit, depending on the event requirements.

Power Distribution

Lets face it electricity is dangerous and has killed people, particularly outside in wet weather. With modern Health & Safety regulations, the days of nailing a few sockets to a piece of wood and saying “It’ll be OK” , or plugging a few domestic extension leads together to power the Organisers tent tea urn are long gone. We can supply proper distribution boxes and cables, lights and sockets, and even generators if required. With qualified electricians & properly maintained equipment, we can do the job properly and safely. Talk to us, it might just save someone’s life.

Music Speakers

Music speakers come in all shapes and sizes, from big powerful systems, to smaller more discrete units, all designed for their own particular job. The idea of using P.A. horn speakers for the main ring of an Agricultural Show or Country Fair is an outdated notion hailing from years gone by when equipment was inefficient, low powered, and demanded a heavy drain on batteries. Furthermore, it is often required to keep the sound to the vicinity of the arena so as not to bleed over into the next ring or annoy the trade stands. This is unachievable with horns, as the sound throws a long way, and after all, you can’t cut the end off a sound wave! These days, more modern, high quality speakers are available which are most suited to this application. We stock music speakers from Electrovoice, Bose, RCF and Toa, and can surround a large arena with quality, powerful sound. When combined with high power amplifiers and a healthy power supply, we can provide a quality system for your show or event arenas that is easy on the ear, and a general all-round pleasant listening experience.

If you need to cover other areas of an event, we can supply a system with music and speech speakers for maximum flexibility.

Horn Speakers

Our stock of horns is large, with more on the way all the time. Some people associate horns with loud tinny or honky ‘P.A. Sound’; however if employed correctly, they can provide quality coverage over wide areas without being driven too hard or sounding nasty. This is the reason we only stock quality units from Toa, Atlas Sound, & Grampian, with a choice of 25, 30, or 50 watt drivers. We also stock a range of music horns; which are a good compromise between good sound and medium throw.

Microphones

Our stock includes Shure, Audio Technica, Sennhieser, and Beyer.

We also stock specialist commentators lip microphones, and headset/headphone combinations for hands free commentating.

Radio Microphones

Along with our wired mics, we stock quality Radio Microphones from Shure, Sennhieser, and Audio Technica, with combinations of hand held and head worn mics. Our radio microphones are capable of working at large distances, and we also supply antenna kits to assist in this area.

Two Way Radios

Our radio stock is made up of models from Motorola. We also supply repeater stations to cover larger areas.

Audio Visual

Screens, Projectors, Televisions, DVD Players, P.A. Systems.

Timing

We keep infra red broken beam timing equipment from E.G. Timing, aimed mainly at Equine events.
